Job Description
Job Title:Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)
VocoVision isseeking aSpeech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our team and provide virtual speech therapy services to students across Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels (PreK-12)
- Complete thorough assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
- Provide direct therapy via a secure online platform, including one-on-one and group sessions
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Stay up to date with best practices and continue professional development in teletherapy services
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License
- Experience working with a variety of student disabilities, including speech and language delays, articulation issues, and fluency disorders
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Prior teletherapy experience is a plus but not requiredtraining is provided
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using online platforms for delivering therapy sessions
