Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote School Psychologist to support K-12 students across school districts in South Dakota. The ideal candidate will provide virtual psychological services, including evaluations, counseling, and consultation, while promoting student mental health, academic success, and positive behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results via tele-assessment tools.

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.

  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions.

  • Offer crisis intervention, consultation, and support to school personnel and families.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Valid South Dakota School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred.

  • Proficiency with virtual platforms for assessment, consultation, and counseling.
