This is a full-time position, scheduled 40 hours per week, no holidays, weekends or evenings. It will be a four-day work week, days to be determined when hired.
Women's Health North is a busy and fun office looking for an additional experienced, caring, patient centered Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team! This position will support a team of six providers in providing the highest quality, evidenced based care to our patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs a variety of diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures
- Ensure quality and accuracy of images for interpretation by a Radiologist
- Complete worksheets and maintain proper documentation for each study performed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
- Schedules and coordinates tests
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Required
- Graduates 2017 or later must also have Associates degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required
- Minimum 1 year experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
