Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 26-week contract position in Fairbanks, Alaska. This role involves performing ultrasound imaging in an outpatient setting, working 40 hours per week.Housing is included in the contract, with a 1-bedroom unit provided (no pets allowed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures as required.
- Work effectively in an outpatient setting, providing high-quality diagnostic images.
- Utilize ultrasound equipment and maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an outpatient setting.
- ARDMS certification required; registry in multiple areas such as vascular, OB, and abdomen is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Ability to work 4×10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable days of the week.
- Ability to pass onboarding, background check, and drug screen in compliance with the Joint Commission.
