Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Riverton, Utah. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly reputable healthcare team and contribute to quality patient care through advanced imaging diagnostics.
Position Overview:
The Ultrasound Tech will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role requires a professional who can handle a diverse patient population while maintaining high standards of care and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures following ACR guidelines
- Ensure proper patient identification and exam verification
- Use safe imaging practices to produce high-quality, diagnostic images
- Document and annotate exams thoroughly and accurately
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
- Follow protocols for coding, medical necessity, and equipment cleaning
- Work with patients of all ages: neonatal through geriatric
Required Certifications:
- ARDMS or ARRT(S) Registry Must include one specialty registry (e.g., OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, or vascular)
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
