Job Description:

Join our team in Niagara Falls, NY as a Travel OR RN. You will be responsible for providing essential support in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, as a circulating nurse.
• Effectively communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage anesthesia, and assist with surgical site preparation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical activities and patient records.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, and oral-maxillofacial surgeries.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an OR RN.
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications preferred.
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 8 or 10-hour day shifts (7a-5por 9a-5p)
