Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity in Concord, North Carolina. This is a night shift position at a large teaching facility with advanced imaging technology and strong departmental support. Ideal candidates will be confident, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy environment with a variety of patient populations.

Department Overview:

Patient volume: 3040 per day

Patient types: ED, inpatient, outpatient, observation

Common cases: Neuro/stroke, seizures, prostate cancer, diabetic foot, GI conditions

Cardiac and pediatric imaging performed (with/without anesthesia)

Department staffed with overnight tech assistant and supported by Guest Services and Child Life Services

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience

Skills & Responsibilities:

Verify imaging orders and patient identification using two identifiers

Provide cr explanations of procedures and gather patient medical history

Administer IV contrast per protocols

Ensure technical quality of images and consult radiologist as needed

Provide basic patient care and monitor patient condition

Follow all infection control and safety procedures during invasive exams
