Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles on the roadside across the Slough cluster, ensuring members are quickly back on the road.
Location: Slough cluster covering Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Marlow, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dependable and flexible service to members, working between 06:00 and 02:00 including weekends and bank holidays.
- Diagnose and repair light vehicle faults on the roadside.
- Manage own diagnostic kit and van, ensuring it is stocked and maintained.
- Complete accurate reports and log calls in a timely manner.
- Handle a variety of roadside events, from engine failures to flat tyres, consistently delivering a high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent with technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work on short notice and travel with overnight stays as required.
