Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel RN – Tele for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare enviment, providing specialized care to cardiac patients.
Peoria, located along the Illinois River, is a vibrant city known for its cultural attractions, excellent healthcare, and beautiful parks.Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry equipment, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring adherence to cardiac care protocols
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately using EPIC charting system
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
