About the Role

This role begins July 29th, 2025, and runs through May 26th, 2026. As an itinerant TVI, youll serve a diverse K12 caseload across multiple campuses, providing direct services, developing individualized instructional plans, and collaborating with school staff and families. Most assignments are full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday through Friday, but part-time roles may be available if you inquire.

Qualifications

  • Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification for the state of Texas

  • Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired

  • Strong skills in Braille, Nemeth Code, and assistive technology

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between school sites
