About the role: SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic – you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on. You’ll work a typical 40‑hour week, with shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, often early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You’ll be part of the Reading cluster, covering Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Henley‑on‑Thames, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, and you’ll start and finish at home, focusing on getting members back on the road in your local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide roadside assistance to members, including fault diagnostics, flat tyre replacement, battery charging, and other on‑scene repairs.
- Maintain and manage your personal toolkit and diagnostic equipment.
- Keep accurate reports and records of visits and actions taken.
- Communicate with members and team members, ensuring calm and professional service under pressure.
- Support and advise members on vehicle safety and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- A customer‑focused approach and strong communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and travel with overnight stays if required.
Pay and Benefits:
- Base salary £50,669 with potential to earn up to £57,000 with bonuses and overtime.
