Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of GAAP, and experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role offers growth potential and the opportunity to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial results and variances, providing insights to management
- Assist with audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Cost Accounting, strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, SAP ideal
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
