Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, growing organization in Little Rock. In this role, you will play an integral part in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and managing critical accounting functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, offering insights to guide business decisions.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; prior senior-level experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
