Job Description
This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist providing essential services in a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. Serving students from elementary through middle school, this role offers a caseload of 45 to 50 students and requires 35-40 hours per week. The opportunity is a contract position for the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual and onsite speech-language pathology services to students across elementary and middle school grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to students needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Participate in professional development and clinical advisory sessions to enhance best practices
Qualifications:
- Required state license as a Speech Language Pathologist in South Carolina
- Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), or certification as a school-based SLP
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both virtually and onsite
- Commitment to student-centered care and collaborative team approach
