Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and passionate Special Education Teacher for an onsite Secondary Autism Support position. This classroom-based role is focused on supporting 8th and 9th grade students in a structured autism support program.

Position Details:

  • Grade Level: 8th and 9th Grade

  • Setting: Autism Support Classroom (Secondary level)

  • Location: Onsite near Lancaster, PA

  • Contract Length: Full 20252026 school year

Salary Range:
$50,000 $75,000 (based on years of experience, teaching certification, and degree level)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction based on IEP goals

  • Create and implement lesson plans tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent progress

  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and behavior

  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

  • Valid PA Teaching Certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain)

  • Experience working with students with autism preferred

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
