Job Description
Pay: $24 to $26 per hour (plus 15% shift differential for 2nd shift)
Location: Redmond, Washington
Shift Times:
· 1st Shift: 5:30am – 2:00pm (Monday – Friday)
· 2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Monday – Friday)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our electromechanical assembly team, specializing in the aerospace industry. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and assembling mechanical and electronic components, with a strong emphasis on soldering and interpreting technical documentation. Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical and electronic systems and components.
· Perform precision soldering and assembly work on circuit boards and control panels.
· Utilize diagnostic tools and trade-specific equipment.
· Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
· Support R&D efforts by reviewing new manuals and participating in training.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in the shop.
· Mentor and assist in training new technicians.
· Conduct in-process and final inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Proficient in soldering and electronic assembly.
· Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident.
· Skilled in using measuring instruments and standard hand tools.
· Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
· Basic understanding of motors, pneumatic valves, and lighting systems.
· Experience with circuit board repair and wiring.
· Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and comprehension).
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working under a microscope for detailed soldering tasks.
· Prior experience in the aerospace industry.
· IPC certification(s) is a plus, but not required.
· Experience in a light balancing room is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
