This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential social work services within a middle school setting in Sterling Heights, MI. As a critical member of the student support team, the role involves addressing personal, psychological, and social issues that affect student performance and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel general education students facing personal and psychological challenges impacting their behavior, socialization, and academic success.
  • Develop and implement individualized counseling sessions, treatment plans, prevention programs, and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and administrators to identify behavioral causes and provide effective support.
  • municate with parents and guardians to discuss student challenges and progress.
  • Maintain detailed case files and progress reports to monitor student development.
