Utica Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and language support services to K12 students with diverse communication needs. If yre passionate abt helping students build critical speech and language skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative educational team.

Position Overview:
In this role, y will evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports communication development and academic success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare evaluation reports

  • Develop and implement therapy aligned with IEP goals

  • Provide services for articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatics

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families

  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

  • Track student progress and adjust plans as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Michigan SLP License

  • Michigan Department of Education Approval/Certification for school-based SLP

  • ASHA CCC preferred

  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience a plus

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
