About The Role

RAC has an exciting opportunity to appoint an SEO Executive to join the Performance Marketing team on a permanent basis. This role offers a flexible hybrid working model with three days working from home and two days at our Bradley Stoke office in Bristol.

We are looking for a talented individual with SEO experience or a digital marketing executive with an SEO focus. You will be responsible for driving high-quality traffic through increased organic visibility, maintaining technical hygiene, identifying opportunities, and delivering the RAC’s SEO strategy. You must be able to work autonomously, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to influence others to support the growth of RAC’s core products and services.

Role purpose

  • Support the creation, implementation, and execution of our SEO strategy.
  • Manage and deliver an SEO roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report on SEO visibility across products and services, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to grow visibility and traffic.
  • Monitor the technical health of the RAC domain and implement solutions to improve crawlability.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and others to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage budget and compliance processes, communicating with stakeholders for approvals.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Performance Marketing department.
  • Stay updated with industry changes impacting performance.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

The candidate should have experience managing and executing SEO strategies with proven results. A blend of technical, creative, and analytical skills is essential, along with a passion for SEO and commercial awareness. Proficiency in Google Search Console, auditing tools like Screaming Frog, and experience with on-page SEO and understanding Google algorithm updates are required.
