We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of FP&A for our rapidly expanding manufacturing company. This executive level position plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization. The Senior Director, FP&A will lead our financial planning and analysis department, and will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, profitability modeling, and implementing financial controls. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial health and strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A team in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting trends and providing insights to drive profitability and growth.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support decision making.
- Oversee the creation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the achievement of financial objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with short and long-term operational strategies.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new business opportunities, initiatives, and potential risks.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the manufacturing industry (consumer packaged goods).
- Strong experience working with head of sales and marketing teams.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of profitability modeling and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Solid experience in implementing and maintaining financial controls.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide a high-performing finance team.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information and concepts to non-financial managers.
- Proficient in the use of financial software and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
