Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a great client's team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee key financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Analyze financial data to support reporting requirements and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support organizational goals.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and formulas, to streamline accounting processes.
