Job Description
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP certification is needed to serve K-12 students in a school setting in Lafayette, IN. This contract position runs through the end of the school year, with an immediate start date.
Three openings are available: one position focuses exclusively on conducting evaluations, while two positions involve managing full-time caseloads primarily in elementary schools. This role requires working collaboratively with students, educators, and families to provide comprehensive speech and language services aimed at supporting student communication development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong evaluation and caseload management skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting as required by the school and governing bodies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student progress
