Full-Time School Psychologist SY25 – Mt. Morris, MI
Job Title: Full-Time School Social Worker
Location: Mt. Morris, Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
School Building: Single-site placement (no travel between buildings)
Grade Levels: 2nd and 3rd Grade
Start Date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
Position Overview:
Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools is currently seeking a Full-Time School Social Worker to join our student support team, serving a dedicated caseload of 2nd and 3rd grade students in a single building. This is a unique opportunity to provide both general education and special education services, with a strong focus on early intervention, social-emotional development, and behavioral support.
We are actively seeking candidates who either hold a current 310 School Social Work approval or are eligible and in the process of obtaining one.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative social work services to students in general education and those with IEPs.

Support social-emotional learning through individual and group interventions focused on behavior, self-regulation, and peer relationships.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to develop and implement student success plans.

Contribute to IEP teams, including writing goals, monitoring progress, and delivering services in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Serve as a key contact for family engagement and link students/families to community-based resources as needed.

Foster a trauma-informed and inclusive school environment that supports the whole child.
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

Current Michigan School Social Worker license.

310 Letter (or willingness to obtain) applicants with an active 310 approval are strongly preferred.

Experience working with early elementary students and familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, or SEL frameworks is a plus.
