Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional in the field of school social work, focusing on the needs of students from PK to 6th grade. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or higher
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with young children
- Strong understanding of social developmental studies
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and document student progress
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the pre-referral process
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Location: Freeport, IL Middle School
Responsibilities:
