Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services exclusively through teletherapy.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement effective therapy strategies for students in 3rd and 8th grades.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to track student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Foster an engaging online therapeutic environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage a caseload of up to 3 students, focusing on their unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- State licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with students with Down syndrome and autism preferred.
- Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students remotely.
