Job Description

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathology positions are available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 educational institution located in Independence, MO. These contract roles offer an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills in both elementary and middle school settings, with a start date of August 11, 2025.

Positions Available:

  • Elementary Caseload: Serving K-4th grade, working with approximately 39 students (not all case-managed).
  • Middle School Caseload: Serving 7th-8th grade, overseeing about 33 students (not all case-managed). This role is pending.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing speech and language therapy to students, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting individual education plans to promote effective communication and learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatrics, healthcare, or school settings preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
