Position Overview:
Soliant is seeking a passionate and collaborative School Social Worker to support our PreK program in Island Lake, IL for the 20252026 school year. This full-time role is integral in promoting social-emotional development, mental health, and family engagement for our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will be mitted to early childhood education and skilled in working within a team-based, student-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect social work services to PreK students and families

Support students social-emotional and behavioral development through early intervention

Collaborate with building-based teams, including:

Student Assistance Teams
-
Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS) Tiered Teams
-
Crisis Response Teams
-
Grade-Level Teams
-
Whole Faculty Study Groups
-
Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs and behavior plans
-
Liaise with families and munity resources to support student and family well-being
-
Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through prevention and support services
Qualifications:
-
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SW) Endorsement

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program

Experience with early childhood populations preferred

Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, social-emotional learning (SEL), and MTSS

Strong interpersonal, munication, and advocacy skills
