Job Description
A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in school nursing is needed to support K-12 students within a Boston-based educational setting. This contract opportunity spans the full academic school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.
- Manage chronic conditions, medications administration, and emergency care in accordance with state regulations.
- Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
- Promote health education and preventive care initiatives within the school munity.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate follow-up care.
- Ensure pliance with school and state health policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
