School Psychologist - Newport News, VA (Hiring Immediately)

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the remainder of the school year in a K-12 setting. This in-person role requires a mitment of 37.5 hours per week, focusing on supporting students psychological and educational needs within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide consultation and support to staff regarding behavioral and learning challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Ensure pliance with district, state, and federal regulations related to special education and psychological services.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with K-12 populations.
