Position Overview:
Soliant is working with a school district near Long Beach, CAand is seeking a School Psychologistto provide psychological services and support for students. The School Psychologists will work closely with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and promote mental health within the school environment. Specific caseload details will be provided during the interview process. The individual filling this role will be working with multipleschools within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead eligibility meetings, providing all necessary documentation and data to inform decision-making.

  • Work amongst a few schools within the district

  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

  • Provide Testing and Evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Educators Credential as School Psychologist in the state of California
  • Master or Bachelor degree in Psychology
  • Experience working with students with social/emotional disabilities and/or multiple disabilities preferred.

  • Strong understanding of assessment procedures, eligibility criteria, and the IEP process.

  • Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
