An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within a K-12 educational setting in West Hartford, CT. This contract position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering the well-being and academic success of students through targeted psychological interventions and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 students, demonstrating effective assessment and intervention skills
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Cultural petency and mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school munity

Location: West Hartford, CT

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide psychological evaluations for students
• Develop and implement appropriate interventions and behavior support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to promote student mental health and academic success
• Provide training and support to school staff on mental health best practices
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Engage with families to ensure continuity of care and support outside of school
