Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide teletherapy services to K-12 students with speech and language needs, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.

  • Conduct virtual speech assessments, develop individualized therapy plans (IEPs), and implement targeted interventions.

  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.

  • Track student progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions.

  • Participate in virtual team meetings and consult with educational teams as needed.

  • Stay current with best practices and trends in school-based teletherapy.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.

  • Current Iowa State Licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain licensure).

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.

  • Prior experience in school-based settings (K-12) preferred.

  • Experience with teletherapy platforms or willingness to learn new technology tools.
