You will diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs and support members on their journeys across the UK, often starting and finishing at home with local driving. A clear development route leads to IMI accreditation while you earn a strong base and potential overtime.
Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic) and a full UK driving licence with <=5 points. RAC offers a structured path, supportive teams and competitive benefits.
