The RAC is the UK\’s leading breakdown service provider – a people-powered business of 4,000 \’orange heroes\’ delivering the best-in-class motoring services for both private and business drivers. Our unprecedented growth means we now have a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.
As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
- A customer-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work at relatively short notice
- Open to travel and overnight stays if necessary
In this role you’ll work the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster. You will receive your roster seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days prior. You will work within the hours of 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
