Retail Pharmacist Full-Time Position | Fairfield, OH
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Schedule Options:

Morning Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Applicants must be available for one of the above fixed shifts.
About the Role:
Were partnering with a reputable, high-volume retail pharmacy in Fairfield to find a licensed, detail-focused pharmacist. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and is confident managing both medication safety and technician workflow.
Primary Duties:

Supervise pharmacy staff including techs and data entry clerks to ensure accurate prescription processing

Monitor day-to-day operations for compliance, workflow efficiency, and security protocols

Review all new prescriptions for proper dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and potential contraindications before dispensing

Support the accurate handling, tracking, and documentation of controlled substancesespecially Schedule II medications

Oversee and approve prepacking and inventory tasks handled by the pharmacy technicians
