Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to K12 students across West Virginia schools. This fully remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while helping students build the skills needed for success in school and daily life.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students via secure, online platforms

  • Conduct virtual assessments to determine students functional, sensory-motor, and fine motor needs

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school teams

  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to support students educational participation

  • Provide consultation and strategies to educators and families to support student success

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district policies

  • Participate in virtual IEP and eligibility meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy

  • Active West Virginia OT license (or eligibility for licensure)

  • At least 2 years of pediatric or school-based OT experience

  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital tools for assessment and intervention

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience delivering OT services virtually

  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based documentation
