Job Description:
- Evaluate, planand implementappropriate individualized speech therapy programs for each student based on treatment plan goals developed in partnership with educators and parents.
- Monitorservices and provide progress information that will enable each student to develop their personal goals, preferences and needs.
- Employ speech therapy strategies and techniques during each session to improve the development of speech and communication skills, receptive and expressive language, cognition, and memory while meeting the individual age-appropriate needs of each child in their natural environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology inIllinois.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Two years of experience in educational settings is preferred
- Ability to navigate virtual therapy tools and technology for remote service delivery is preferred.
- High-speed and reliable internet connection and a personal computer with updated software are essential.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within the schoolteam.
