The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, validating, verifying, and maintaining the facility's food safety and quality plans. This role will oversee the daily operation of the SQF system, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and verify food safety and quality plans.
- Oversee the daily operation of the SQF system.
- Manage the efficiency and production of the QA/QC Lab.
- Conduct plant and facility audits.
- Ensure compliance with SQF food safety code for manufacturing.
Essential Skills
- Quality assurance in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency with plant/facility audits.
- Knowledgeable in SQF food safety code and food quality plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and microbiology.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
