Job Description
LHH is working with a heavy civil general contractor client in the NYC Metro Area who is looking to hire a Proposal professional.
The role is full time on site in one of their locations, either Farmingdale, Queens, or Montclair, NJ. Please only apply to this role if you are commutable 5 days a week to any of these three offices.
Our client is open to seeing an array of experiences, but is requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience with Proposal Writing/Production within the civil general contractor/civil engineering industry!
The starting salary for this position is 130K and will increase from there based on experience and qualifications. There is also an annual bonus attached to the base salary, they also offer medical, dental, and vision packages, and a 401K with match.
Here is the summary of the role:
The primary responsibility is to provide support and direction for assigned Proposals that support the Business Units strategic business plans. This person oversees the production of proposals in conjunction with bids, quotations, or other documents describing organizational products, technical expertise and services in response to requests from prospective clients. This role will manage all marketing resources and coordinate technical writers essential to the proposal process. Overall responsibility for execution and delivery of the proposal.
Effective supervision is central to this job. Guiding all team members on the proposal team, he or she will disseminate required information and oversee the production of all proposal pages, including both aesthetics and written content.
This role will attend meetings with partners and clients as it relates to document preparation, in addition to attending bidder conferences related to same. He or she will also participate in finalizing and implementing the contract by providing necessary documents.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
