Job Description
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary customer contact for onsite equipment support and service.
- Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes as requested by the client.
- Provide on-going end-user training on printing equipment and software functionality.
- Service Delivery & Technical Support:
- Perform basic device cleaning and replace operator-accessible parts and consumables.
- Conduct break-fix activities (comprising approximately 70% of the role).
- Download and install printer drivers and map devices to end-user PCs.
- Perform basic diagnosis of printer and multifunctional device issues.
- Configure network settings such as IP addresses, scanning templates, and user access levels.
- Monitor and apply necessary software patches and updates.
- Provide support for non-Client devices as needed.
- Escalate advanced network or device issues to appropriate IT resources.
- Coordinate removal or delivery of new devices.
- Assist with remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and solve device issues via Client tools.
- Maintain accurate service call records using Client systems.
- Manage onsite consumables using the DOS calculator.
- Collect and report device meter readings for billing purposes.
- Track activity and assets using internal systems (e.g., PM4).
- Maintain an onsite inventory of operator-replaceable parts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience resolving printing equipment issues and providing customer support.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of IP configuration, device setup, and print networking.
- Familiarity with basic problem-solving and diagnostic procedures for printing equipment.
- Competent in physical and remote device management.
- Previous experience working with Client or similar enterprise print solutions.
- Knowledge of Client -specific tools and web-based service applications.
- Experience with service call tracking systems and remote device management tools.
- Basic knowledge of print infrastructure or IT service desk support.
- Client training certifications (if applicable).
- OEM-specific certifications for printers or multifunctional devices (preferred but not required).
