As a phlebotomist, you will perform blood draws on site for a medical office that sees about 100-150 patients per day. You must be comfortable with conducting 30-40 draws a day independently, along with data entry, specimen processing, and preparing labs for shipment. The role involves administering a full menu of tests and rotating between the front desk, patient services, and other testing areas. We are seeking proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented candidates who are eager for growth in a thriving national outpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures independently.
- Conduct data entry and specimen processing tasks.
- Prepare labs for shipment.
- Administer a full menu of testing.
- Rotate between front desk duties, patient services, and other testing areas.
- Phlebotomy and blood draw expertise.
- Proficiency in venipuncture procedures.
- Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months clinical phlebotomy experience needed.
- Hospital or outpatient lab experience strongly preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of testing menu preferred.
- Plasma experience augmented by traditional phlebotomy experience.
- Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8-5 or 9-6. You will work in an outpatient setting, floating between several medical offices in Provo. The pace is somewhat slower with a more limited test menu. Scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required, and lab coats will be provided.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Provo,UT.
