Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing discovery processes for active cases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle case reductions by obtaining necessary documentation from medical providers and other sources.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates, guidance, and support regarding their cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather relevant information and maintain strong relationships built on attention to detail.
• Maintain and organize a caseload of approximately 30 cases with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize case management software and tools to track progress and meet deadlines.
• Offer friendly and thoughtful engagement with clients and stakeholders to foster positive interactions.
• Support the team in briefing and claim administration tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedural requirements throughout case handling.• Proven experience working in a high-volume personal injury law firm.
• Familiarity with case management software, such as Aderant, CompuLaw, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Acrobat and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients and providers.
• Ability to manage billing functions and calendar schedules with accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and resourcefully in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Knowledge of claim administration processes and legal briefing techniques.
