Job Description
Job Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (FMLA Coverage)
Location: Brooklyn Center, MN 55430
Pay Rate: $35/hr to $45/hr
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide short-term FMLA coverage at an elementary school in Brooklyn Center, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive educational team and make a direct impact on students' daily lives and developmental progress.
This position is accountable for providing occupational therapy services that include improving, developing, or restoring skills that will enable students to move toward independent functioning regarding physical, mental, emotional, and educational goals. The OT will support students in their least restrictive educational setting and collaborate with school staff in evaluation, program planning, and addressing environmental issues.
Requirements

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy (Education focus preferred)

Previous experience working with diverse student populations is strongly preferred

Successful prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in an educational or pediatric setting

Minnesota OT License issued by the MN Department of Health
