Illinois OB/GYN – No Call Required

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN for an immediate locums assignment in Illinois. This is an outstanding opportunity for physicians looking for full-time coverage without call responsibilities.

Highlights

  • No call required for this assignment.

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Support from 2 APRNs, 2 RNs, 2-3 CMAs, and midwifery services.
  • Work within a 489-bed facility.

Schedule

  • Full-time coverage needed from December 2025 through January 2026.
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8 AM – 4 PM.
  • Facility is closed on holidays.

Procedures and Cases

  • Manage inpatient and outpatient follow-ups.
  • Perform EMB, Colposcopies, IUD and Nexplanon insertions.
  • Patient volume averages 15-18 patients per day.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Must possess an active Illinois medical license or be open to IMLC Physicians.
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience required.
  • DEA certification is necessary.

Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
  • Willing to wait for an Illinois license for IMLC LOQ holders.
