Position: National Accounts Manager II - ICT
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 PM


The National Automotive Accounts Manager (NAM) plans and implements sales to specific, major accounts. Cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are critical. Accounts may have multiple buying, design locations, making establishing and maintaining broad customer relationships essential. This role will be focused on energy storage, automotive, and novel activated carbon applications.
 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Establishes and builds strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communications to other relevant organizational functions/divisions.
  • Works to gain a complete understanding of Calgon's value proposition at each account they service.
  • Utilizes the knowledge gained to position Calgon's products and works to maximize the sales and margin at each account.
  • Works with marketing / R&D to develop presentation content, tailored to the needs and requirements of the audience, to communicate CCC value proposition.
  • Forecasts customer demand, appropriately document customer discussions and pricing, and updates team with customer interaction utilizing the appropriate sales tools.
  • Works with the business line to develop sales strategies for national/global accounts and helps identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the Innovative Carbon Technologies business line.
  • Flexible work schedule as customers are global (North America, Europe, and Asia) with potential opportunities for global travel.
     

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Technical or Business degree; can also have equivalent work experience
  • A master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent is preferred
  • 7-10 years of sales experience is required
  • Experience selling activated carbon is preferred
