  • A competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000
  • A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
  • 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.


As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one - with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Where you’ll work You’ll be part of the Warrington cluster, covering areas like Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton‑le‑Willows, Leigh, Golborne, Ashton‑in‑Makerfield. You’ll be out on the road in your local area, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments - no reactive callouts, just organised, pre‑booked work where you can focus on doing the job properly.

What you’ll need Either: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
or
5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
