Job Description
Step into a hands-on role as a MIG Welder and be part of a team that turns raw metal into precision-crafted components! You'll work on a dynamic mix of sheet metal and structural steel projects, shaping everything from guards and chutes to covers and conveyors. Whether it's carbon or stainless steel, from 14-gauge to 1/4”, your skill and artistry will bring essential structures to life. This position will pay based on a weld test between $22-$26/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon and stainless steel materials, ranging from 14-gauge to 1/4”.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and sketches with accuracy to ensure top-quality results.
- Adjust welding equipment for optimal fusion and durability of metals.
- Select the best materials and gauges for each project, ensuring strength and efficiency.
- Utilize hand and power tools to refine and perfect each product.
- Remove slag, burrs, and sharp edges with grinders or sanders for a smooth finish.
- Inspect completed parts and label them with part numbers for easy identification.
- Safely operate forklifts or overhead cranes to move materials and keep the workflow smooth.
Essential Skills
- Over 3 years of MIG welding experience in a custom welding environment
- Able to read welding blueprints
- Experience with both carbon steel and stainless steel welding
- Ability to regulate welding equipment for optimal results

Work Environment
- Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Optional Overtime: Up to 8 hours on Saturdays as needed
