Tech Savvy
Experience with medical billings, EOB's,and AR experience preferred
Customer Service Experience./Friendly Personality
Professional experience interacting with patients and their insurance questions.
Schedule-
- Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
- Pay $17 an hour
- Duration: Temp to Hire
Duties:
Verify insurance coverage for all patients upon receiving face sheets from facilities.
Assist in obtaining face sheets and retrieving necessary medical records.
Balance a daily census, checking for Part A, Charity, and other relevant categories.
Collaborate with the RCM team to ensure accurate and timely insurance verification.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of insurance verification and patient information.
Answer phones, open mail, other office support duties.
Identifies resolves or refers patient billing complaints appropriately.
Evaluates or assists with patient’s financial status and establishes budget payment plans. Follows and reports status of delinquent accounts.
Review accounts for possible assignments and makes recommendations to the Billing Supervisor, also prepares information for the collection agency.
Performs various collection actions including contacting patients by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Excellent communications skills required
