Job Description
LHH Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for a high-performing manufacturing facility in Youngstown, Ohio.
This role is ideal for a quality-driven professional with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong foundation in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing industry, along with Green or Black Belt certification and relevant quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
Key Responsibilities:

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.

Develop and maintain quality documentation including control plans, FMEAs, and inspection procedures.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Conduct internal audits and support external audits for regulatory and customer compliance.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive process improvements.

Support new product introductions by establishing quality standards and validation protocols.
Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Certified Green Belt or Black Belt in Six Sigma.
