Competitive salary: £50,669 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000.
Weekly variety: You’ll work the average 40 hours per week, with roster seven days in advance and core hours confirmed three days prior.
Thrive outside of 9‑5: Shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Where you'll work: You’ll be part of the Maidstone cluster covering Maidstone, Medway (Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Strood), Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Snodland. Work locally so you can start and finish at home.
Qualifications:
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
- A customer‑focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work at short notice and open to overnight stays if required.
Responsibilities: If you thrive in dynamic environments and support members, your responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults quickly and efficiently.
- Provide roadside assistance such as flat tyre, flat battery and other urgent roadside repairs.
- Manage your van, keep it stocked, and handle reports precisely.
- Communicate calmly under pressure and represent the RAC positively.
